Glymmer
If Chance is the spirit of our mission, Glymmer is the standard of our excellence. A miniature dachshund with the heart of a lion, Glymmer became the inspiration for the Fast-Dogs Kennel Club (FKC).
Watching Glymmer’s natural drive to run and compete, Don and Senior Consultant Tracy Jarvis realized that the world of dog sports was often dangerous for smaller, long-backed breeds. Traditional "weaving" and high-impact jumps were causing injuries that could be avoided.
In honor of Glymmer, the FKC implemented the "No-Weave Mandate” a world-first safety standard ensuring that every dog, from a 5-inch Micro Paw to a 100lb Humongous Paw, can sprint, hunt, and play without risking their spinal health. Glymmer is a inductee into our Hall of Fame, reminding us that greatness isn't measured in inches, but in MPH.
Grimm
Following the path blazed by Chance, Grimm (solidified the competitive spirit of the League. Grimm (represented the peak of performance and the incredible bond possible when a dog is given a job to do. Grimm’s focus and athleticism showed us that our training methods didn't just work, they produced elite canine athletes. Grimm’s legacy is one of pure drive and unwavering loyalty, earning the prestigious position of #2 in the FKC Hall of Fame.
