The Gathering Post: Standing in the Gap
At the K9 Warrior League, we know that some of the heaviest battles are fought in the quiet spaces of the heart. Our 6-acre complex was built out of moments of profound personal loss, and we understand that true survival requires more than just physical training—it requires a foundation of faith, resilience, and mutual support.
This page is our digital "Gathering Post." It is a dedicated space for our platoon, our families, and our supporters to lift one another up. Whether you are a Veteran navigating the "Blank Spot," a first responder carrying the weight of the shift, or a friend standing watch for a loved one, you do not have to carry the load alone.
We believe in the power of a connected community and the strength found in prayer. Leave your requests, your praises, or your quiet thoughts here. We watch each other's six on the sprint tracks, and we watch each other's souls right here.
Lean into the platoon. Share your prayers, and let us stand in the gap with you.

A Warrior’s Prayer: For Those Who Stand the Watch
Heavenly Father,

We come to You from the dirt of the start line, bringing before You the men, women, and families who have given pieces of their souls to protect our peace.
For our Veterans: Lord, clear the smoke from the old battlefields that still echo in their minds. When the "Blank Spot" of isolation rolls in and the weight of the uniform feels heavy in the quiet hours, step into that space. Send them a teammate—whether on two legs or four—to remind them that their mission on this earth is not over. Give them the strength to find their purpose again, and the courage to run their race with eyes fixed forward.
For our First Responders: Protect those who run toward the chaos while others run away. Keep their minds sharp on the dark shifts and shield their hearts from the trauma they witness daily. When they carry the invisible burdens of the street back over their own thresholds, give them a supernatural peace that guards their coming and going.
For their Families: Father, bless the unsung heroes who hold down the home base. They have endured the deployments, the long shifts, the missed dinners, and the quiet anxieties. Give them an extra measure of patience, resilience, and joy. Heal the relationships that have been strained by the pressures of service, and knit these households back together with the bonds of Your unconditional love.
We thank You for the sanctuary of this complex, for the healing power of the animals You have placed in our care, and for the community of this platoon. Remind us every day that we do not walk alone, we do not fight alone, and we do not heal alone.
Watch our six, guide our steps, and bring us all safely to the final finish line.
